The family of a medical student who was found dead in her Mercedes have paid tribute to their ‘precious girl’.
Sabrina Lekaj was found with multiple stab wounds in the front seat of her car just down the road from her family home in Kidman Park, Adelaide about 11.30pm on July 21.
The 20-year-old’s father, Petrit Lekaj, was also found in the vehicle with stab wounds to his stomach which police believe were self-inflicted.
The 49-year-old was rushed to hospital and on July 23 was charged with his daughter’s murder.

Over the weekend, the medical student’s family paid tribute to their ‘precious girl’ with a heartfelt message in a death notice printed in the Advertiser.
’20 years young. Precious daughter of Romina and Petrit. Cherished sister of Pyrrhus,’ the tribute read.
‘Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean, ”we’ll miss you, until we meet again”.’
Ms Lekaj’s friends have also remembered her as a ‘gifted, vivacious student’ who was celebrating the passing of her exams when she died.
Mr Lekaj, who is still recovering in the hospital following emergency surgery, faced a bedside hearing from his hospital bed last month.
He remains under police guard.
A lawyer for Mr Lekaj told the court he could apply for bail within weeks depending on his recovery from stab wounds police say he inflicted on himself moments after allegedly murdering his daughter.
He will remain in police custody until his next court appearance.

Detectives are still investigating the reason for her alleged murder and no further details being disclosed in court.
Daily Mail Australia has been told the young woman had a strained relationship with her parents.
Police were reportedly called to the Lekaj residence on July 23, just hours before the shocking incident.
In the lead up to her death, Ms Lekaj sent text messages to her close friends about the volatile relationship with her parents.
Ms Lekaj was found dead in the front seat of her luxury car after an intense search by South Australia Police.
An hour before she was discovered her mother had raised the alarm with police over concerns for the safety of her daughter and husband.
