Sacha Baron Cohen takes one of his children to the pool in Byron Bay

Sacha Baron Cohen spent quality time with one of his children on Monday while on holiday in Byron Bay, on the northern NSW coast.

The Borat star, 49, was spotted at the local swimming pool while his wife-of-10-years, actress Isla Fisher, went for a solo stroll nearby.

Sacha covered up in a long-sleeve blue rash vest, which he paired with grey shorts.

The British actor also wore a navy baseball cap and black sunglasses, and carried a backpack on his shoulders.

At one stage, Sacha appeared to have his hands full as he carried a pile of beach towels, a drink and a pair of swimming goggles.

He chatted away with one of his young children, who wore a hooded grey beach towel from Kmart which is popular among Aussie kids.

Sacha seemed to steer clear of the water, and was seen holding a takeaway coffee cup while checking his phone by the side of the pool.

Meanwhile, Isla, 44, enjoyed some alone time, and was spotted walking through the beachside town by herself.

The Wedding Crashers star looked stylish in a pair of denim cut-offs, which she paired with an embroidered top.

She carried her belongings in a quilted black Chanel handbag, and accessorised with a pendant necklace.

Her long red hair was styled loosely, and she also donned a blue surgical face mask.

Sacha and Isla have been in Byron Bay for several weeks now, and reportedly attended Liam Hemsworth’s glitzy New Year’s Eve party.

They are believed to be staying Down Under permanently, after taking the major step of enrolling their three children at a school in Sydney.

The notoriously private family had previously been living in Los Angeles.

A source told The Sydney Morning Herald the reason for their move was that they ‘didn’t want to raise their kids in Trump’s America’.

While they may have hoped to quietly relocate to Australia, their presence in the country has generated plenty of public interest.

‘They are surprised by the public interest in their move to Sydney. They thought they left the headlines and paparazzi behind in Los Angeles,’ the insider added.
