Sadio Mane ‘leads Thomas Tuchel’s SEVEN-MAN transfer list’ in a major Bayern Munich clear-out

Sadio Mane ‘leads Thomas Tuchel’s SEVEN-MAN transfer list’ in a major Bayern Munich clear-out… with £100m Premier League star earmarked as the manager’s ‘dream’ summer signing

Sadio Mane is the headline name on Bayern Munich’s seven-man transfer list ahead of the summer transfer window, according to reports in Germany.

Thomas Tuchel, who narrowly guided Bayern to an 11th consecutive Bundesliga crown on the final day of the season, is keen to undergo a major rebuild at the Allianz Arena this summer after what has been an uncharacteristically turbulent campaign for the German giants.

Bayern’s wingers appear to be first on the chopping block, with Mane, Leroy Sane and Serge Gnabry all reportedly heading for the exit door, alongside right-back Bouna Sarr, goalkeeper Alexander Nubel and central midfielder Marcel Sabitzer, whose loan spell at Manchester United drew to a close at the end of the season.

It is understood Benjamin Pavard completes the seven-strong list after choosing not to extend his deal at Bayern.

The French international, who has attracted interest from Barcelona, is able to leave with immediate effect if a club offers Bayern just north of £25million (€30m).

Despite only signing Mane from Liverpool for £35m last summer, the Bundesliga are already prepared to listen to offers for the 31-year-old forward, according to German outlet Bild.

Mane only scored seven goals from 25 league appearances during his debut season at the Allianz and was also involved controversy off the field.

Following Bayern’s Champions League exit to Manchester City in April, the ex-Liverpool man punched Sane in the face, wounding the German international’s lip.

The incident indicated the clear divide within Bayern Munich’s separated camp and came shortly after Tuchel’s arrival, with former head coach Julian Nagelsmann sacked by the club in the weeks leading up to the Champions League quarter-final.

Meanwhile, Lucas Hernandez and Leon Goretzka are being heavily pursued by European giants ahead of the summer window, with the former on the cusp of agreeing a five-year deal at Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.

Manchester United are reportedly monitoring Goretzka’s situation in Bavaria, with the German expected to leave should he not tie in with Tuchel’s first-team plans.

These summer exits are hoped to generate enough cash to rival Arsenal and Manchester United in the pursuit of Declan Rice, who has emerged a ‘dream target’ for Tuchel ahead of next season.

The West Ham captain will lead his side in Wednesday’s Europa Conference League final against Fiorentina before deciding on his future.
