Sadio Mane made the day of a group of lucky Liverpool fans this week, after pulling up alongside them in traffic and stopping for a quick chat.

The Reds forward was driving through the city with a friend, before noticing the flags on the car nearby.

Winding down his window, Mane was seen smiling and giving a thumbs up before pausing for a brief conversation.

The fan in question, named Megan, quickly recorded some footage on her mobile phone and later uploaded the action to Twitter.

‘As if i could love Mane any more, he was made up with the LFC flags on the car and pulled up next to us,’ she wrote. 

In the quick conversation, Mane could be heard discussing the upcoming Champions League final in Madrid.

When asked whether he would be scoring in the crunch match, Mane’s friend replied on his behalf: ‘Yes! He’s going to score a hat-trick.’

Liverpool supporters have spent the last few weeks covering the city in flags for their team, as they prepare for yet another European final.

Following heartbreak in Kiev last season where Real Madrid took a 3-1 victory, Jurgen Klopp’s side overcame the odds to make the final two once again.

They will face Premier League rivals Tottenham in Madrid for what is the first all-English Champions League showdown since Manchester United went up against Chelsea in Moscow, 2008.
