Two 14-year-old boys have been charged with the murder of a teenager found stabbed in the neck at a bus stop in broad daylight.

Saif Abdul Magid, 18, suffered multiple stab wounds on Friday after a brutal attack in Neasden, north-west London.

Scotland Yard said that two youths, both aged 14, had been charged with his murder and will appear at Wimbledon Youth Court today.

A 15-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of murder and has been bailed until a date in mid-October.

Mr Abdul-Majid, from Ealing, west London, was found badly wounded at 3.50pm in Tanfield Avenue and died at the scene.

A police spokesman said: ‘Despite the efforts of attending officers and London Ambulance Service crews, he died at the scene.

‘A post-mortem examination determined cause of death as multiple stab wounds.’

Adnan Davod, One of Mr Abdul-Majid’s friends, told the Evening Standard: ‘His whole family hurts.

‘It’s almost impossible not to retaliate but everyone has to stay calm and come together.

‘His mother requested that a well be built in his memory as a reflection of how much of a caring person he was.’

A witness, who wished to remain anonymous, told the Standard that the teenager was stabbed in the neck and leg as his friends were forced to watch on.

He added: ‘It was all over a fight that broke out in the high street the day before. I don’t know if Saif was involved in the fight but they thought he was.’
