Sales of Jasmine Yarbrough’s shoe label have soared

She was a relative unknown when her romance with the Today Show’s Karl Stefanovic was unveiled early last year.

But nearly 12 months on, Jasmine Yarbrough is now a household name, and her shoe label Mara & Mine appears to be reaping the benefits of her newfound fame.

According to The Sunday Telegraph, sales of the brand’s shoes have soared of late, with the talented 34-year-old now taking her range of fashionable footwear global.

There’s no business like shoe business! The Sunday Telegraph reports that Jasmine Yarbrough has enjoyed a boost in sales of her Mara & Mine products since she began her relationship with Karl Stefanovic

Jasmine began Mara & Mine with her business partner, Tamie Ingham, and the brand’s increasing influence has coincided with her blossoming relationship with Karl.

Last August, David Jones announced it was stocking the brand in its department stores, and just four months later Mara & Mine opened its flagship store in the Sydney suburb of Paddington.

Not even eye-popping price tags have been a deterrent to the brand’s success, with Mara & Mine becoming beloved by those most powerful in the fashion biz.

In an interview with The Telegraph, Vogue Australia editor Edwina McCann fawned over the label’s lust-inducing loafers.

‘Jasmine and Tamie have redefined fashionable flat shoes,’ the magazine maven cooed.

She added: ‘It’s hard to make a fashion statement in flats, but Mara & Mine manage it with aplomb.

The brand’s PR representative Robyn Catinella told The Telegraph that Mara & Mine ‘is expanding its wholesaling on a global level, has formed stockist relations with major boutiques in the US, UK and Asia and is in showings in New York and Paris’.

Indeed entrepreneurial Jasmine was seen making an appearance at New York’s Fashion Week earlier in the month.

Her jaunt to the Big Apple came just weeks after her engagement to Karl, who split from the mother of his three children, Cassandra Thorburn, in mid 2016.

It’s unclear whether Jasmine will opt to wear a pair of Mara & Mine shoes when she ties the knot, an event that Karl says will ‘probably’ happen later in the year.
