Sam Burgess cuts a casual figure as he jets into Sydney after globe-trotting with Russell Crowe

Former Rabbitohs star Sam Burgess has been travelling around the world in recent weeks with his good mate, actor Russell Crowe, as he shoots some new productions.

But it seems that the holiday is over for the footy star, who was spotted on Friday jetting back into Sydney after a trip to Europe.

The 32-year-old SAS Australia star was spotted wearing casual gear from his 4B clothing label as he made his way out of Sydney Airport.

Sam sported a $59.99 pale blue T-shirt from his own line, that he co-owns with his footy star brothers, with a pair of $79.99 white shorts.

Sam, who was looking quite tanned after his trip overseas, teamed the look with a pair of white runners, dark sunglasses and a black backpack.

He clutched his phone as he made his way outside of the terminal, carried a face mask and had a pair of Airpods in.

Russell is in Malta for production of Prizefighter: The Life of Jem Belcher.

Before heading to Malta, the two men were in Thailand where Russell was shooting a movie called The Greatest Beer Run Ever.

Sam was employed on the set in Bangkok, but his exact role is unclear.

The father of two recently told Sunrise he’d landed the job after working with his A-list mentor on a film in Sydney where he earned ‘a basic wage’.

‘I would love to say that I’m in front of camera, going down that line of being a movie star, but I’m not,’ Sam said.

Sam explained he took the job because he wanted to learn leadership skills as he pursues a career as a rugby league coach.
