On Monday night’s finale of Bachelor In Paradise, Sam Cochrane proposed to Tara Pavolvic.
The 34-year-old voiceover artist got down on bended knee to ask the 27-year-old beauty for her hand in marriage.
‘I want to spend the rest of my life with you,’ a tearful Sam stated before pulling out a ring and asking: ‘Will you marry me?’

Before the proposal, Tara told Sam she was in love with him as they came face to face on the shore of a Fijian beach.
She emotionally stated: ‘Everyone knows the loud and funny and often inappropriate side to Sam, but I was lucky enough to find the deep and caring and affectionate side. And then I was lucky enough to fall in love with that.’
The bubbly blonde then presented her beau with a commitment ring, saying: ‘I want to give you this so you can remember this moment now and remember the way we feel right now.

‘But I don’t want the way we feel to be a memory. I want that to last forever. ‘Cause I love you and I want to be with you forever.’
Clearly overwhelmed by Tara’s tender words, Sam struggled to compose himself as it became his turn to articulate his feelings.
‘Our story is funny. From the first moment I saw you, it was a funny look from you, but I didn’t feel like you liked me at all.

‘And then that turned into, “Hi, Uncle Sam.” And from, “Hi, Uncle Sam,” turned into, “What are you doing?” And then slowly I started spending more and more time with you. And you really found a way into my heart.’
The hunk took a deep breath before triumphantly declaring: ‘I love you. I do. It might seem crazy, but it’s not. And I’ve said it to you 1,000 times in my sleep. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. You’re incredible.’
He then asked: ‘Will you marry me?’
Tara gasped in shock and put her hands over her mouth, before stating: ‘Yes!’

Tara was quick to add in her trademark sense of humour, saying: ‘I’ve got really fat fingers!’
The couple both claimed to be shaking as Sam slipped the ring on with ease.
Later, in a piece to camera, Tara cheekily discussed wedding plans, saying she was hoping they could return to Fiji to tie the knot.
‘Let’s have Osher to marry us. Keira will have to be my maid of honour!’ she laughed.
