Samantha Markle points out Meghan failed to invite any of her mother’s siblings to the wedding

More than a week after the Royal Wedding, Meghan Markle’s half sister Samantha has continued her social media tirade against the Duchess of Sussex.

After ranting about Meghan’s coat of arms on Sunday, claiming the design ‘looks like it was drawn by someone in a kindergarten classroom’, she turned her attention back to wedding invitations – or lack thereof.

During a tweet storm on Monday, Samantha revealed it had been 10 years since she had communicated at all with her half sister, but told followers it wasn’t only her side of the family snubbed on May 19.

The only member of Meghan’s family present at her wedding earlier this month was her mother, Doria Ragland. While her father, Thomas Markle, was invited, heart problems prevented him from making the high profile ceremony.

Meghan’s half siblings Samantha and Thomas Jr. did not score an invite – something Samantha has remained angry about in the lead up to and following the wedding.

Doria Ragland has two half siblings, Joseph Johnson and Saundra Johnson, but neither were present on Meghan’s big day.

In the lead up to the wedding, Joseph, 68, told DailyMail.com: ‘We’re not invited unless our invitation got lost in the mail’.

Saundra also missed out on an invitation, but declined to comment on the snub.

Samantha also returned to her myriad of problem’s with Meghan’s coat of arms, which has only been made available for her use, not her family’s.

The 53-year-old said Meghan’s father, former lighting director Thomas Markle, should have access to the symbol as he is directly related to Meghan, and has ties to royalty elsewhere in his bloodline.

She said it was ‘extremely improper that my father was not named’ on the Duchess’ coat of arms – which Samantha was also quick to deride.

‘Quite frankly it looks like it was drawn by someone in a kindergarten classroom,’ she wrote on her Twitter account last week.

On Monday, she criticized the coat of arms again for its chosen symbolism.

Meghan chose to use three quills in her coat of arms to represent communication and the power of words.

Samantha called her choice ‘mental masturbation at its finest’, before returning to her issue with Thomas Markle’s exclusion.

She called it ‘classless’ that Mr Markle was not mentioned on the symbol, and continued her outrage over its inaccessibility – comparing her family to Kate Middleton’s.

‘People in glass houses should not throw stones,’ she wrote.

‘The Royals are far from perfect. Kate Middleton siblings and parents use that coat of arms. Middleton’s are dysfunctional’.
