Samantha X says dating and escorting is ‘impossible’

She’s the former escort who hit the headlines thanks to her relationship with Channel 7’s Ryan Phelan.

And now Samantha X has lifted the lid on what it’s like to date as an escort, calling it ‘pretty much impossible’ in a new post on her website.

The beauty, 44, also referenced a mystery ‘someone special,’ but declined to specify if she was referring to Ryan or not.

‘Personally, for me, when I was escorting, relationships were pretty much impossible,’ she wrote. ‘Which is why I stopped when I found someone special.’

She continued: ‘Sadly that didn’t work out, but that wasn’t due to my job.’

In February, told the Daily Mail Australia that ‘the door was firmly closed’ on a potential return to escorting, with the beauty now focused on studying at university instead.

Despite no longer escorting herself, Samantha currently runs her own escort agency, where she manages a small group of pricey prostitutes.

The women, dubbed ‘angels,’ range in age from 28 to 50.

During her working days, Samantha charged $1000 an hour and $6000 a night.

She often said that sex was only a small part of her job, and that her job was more about ‘talking’ than sleeping with clients.

She previously likened escorting to ‘naked therapy’ rather than sex work.
