A Santa Monica beachfront party palace that was once owned by actor Cary Grant has hit the market for a whopping $12 million, despite its location in the middle of a parking lot.

The breathtaking home was originally built for silent screen star Norma Taldmadge in 1930.

Jennifer Diener, the current owner who has lived in the home for nearly 40 years, said Grant and actor Randolph Scott purchased the residence in the 1930s, according to Jade Mills of Coldwell Banker Global Luxury, the agent representing the property.
