The murdering ex-dresser of Sarah Ferguson is currently stacking shelves at a Morrisons store as a coronavirus key worker.

Jane Andrews, 53, was jailed for life in 2001 for battering and stabbing her boyfriend, Tom Cressman, to death with a cricket bat and knife after he refused to marry her.

She was let out of prison after just 14 years before being jailed again in 2018 when she breached the licence of her release. It was claimed that she harassed a married man.

Andrews has since been released again and is currently working three days a week at her local Morrisons store in the east of England for £8.50 an hour.

Mr Cressman’s brother, Rick, 66, told The Sun: ‘She’s no key worker. She’s a murderer.’

Andrews, who now has a new name, killed Mr Cressman, 39, in September 2000, while he was asleep in the London flat they shared.

Rick added: ‘Andrews should have been locked up for life not given two chances to rebuild her own.

‘She has never once in two decades apologised to my family.’

After she murdered Mr Cressman, Andrews went on the run for four days and Miss Ferguson even left her two voicemail messages encouraging her to tell police the truth.

Andrews was also able to run away from an open prison in Kent in 2009 before meeting her parents in a graveyard.

She was re-arrested after a taxi driver raised the alert.

In June last year a Parole Board reviewed her case and released her from prison.

Morrisons has been contacted for comment.
