Sarah Palin has become a grandmother for the eighth time after her daughter Willow welcomed her third child, a baby boy named Pace Banner.
The 58-year-old former governor of Alaska shared the family’s joyful news on Instagram, where she proudly posted several images of her newborn grandson, while describing him as ‘heaven on earth’ and the ‘most beautiful addition’ to their brood.
‘“…and then there were five,”’ she began her caption. ‘Heaven on earth. Pace Banner Bailey! Willow & Ricky & the #twins… most beautiful family addition, thank you lord!’
In a post shared on her own account, new mom-of-three Willow, 28, who welcomed twin girls Banks and Blaise in November 2019, revealed that her newborn arrived on Wednesday, weighing in at 6.9lbs.
‘Pace Banner Bailey. Welcome to the world my sweet baby boy! 3/30 – 6.9lbs,’ she wrote alongside a picture of her infant son.

Images and videos shared by Palin show Willow happily cradling her baby boy in her hospital bed, before passing him around to his other family members, including his grandma, and his aunts Bristol, 31, who herself has three children, and Piper, 21.
Piper described herself as being ‘obsessed’ with her newborn nephew in her own post, which featured a sweet picture of the proud aunt cradling the baby boy in her arms.
Meanwhile Bristol paid tribute to Willow and her husband Ricky Bailey, writing: ‘Welcome to the world Pace Banner Bailey, you are so loved already. Congrats to my sis and her husband on their newest addition!!’
The news of Willow and Ricky’s latest arrival comes close to five months after they shared the news that they were expecting a third child together in November of last year.
At the time, a then-pregnant Willow proudly showed off her bump in an Instagram video, writing alongside it: ‘Been keeping this guy a little bit of a secret — one more week and we’ll be half way with our BOY!’

A little over a year later, they welcomed their twin daughters Banks and Blaise in 2019; the girls turned two just days after Willow shared the news of her second pregnancy.

The pair was spotted dining outside at Elio’s on the Upper East Side in New York City in January – two days after Palin knew she had tested positive for COVID.
That evening, Duguay, 64, was notably protective of the former Alaska governor, reportedly bristling at reporters and shielding Palin from them. The pair was with a group of five or six people.
Duguay is a Canadian former professional hockey player who spent 12 seasons with the NHL from 1977 to 1989. He played for several different teams throughout his career but was drafted by the Rangers and played his first six seasons in New York, notorious for his flashy behavior and long hair.
Duguay was married to Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Kim Alexis in 1993. They divorced in 2016. He had briefly dated Charlie’s Angels starlet Farrah Fawcett in the 1980s – and had claimed that paparazzi photos of the pair in Page Six got him traded from the Rangers.
The news of her relationship with Duguay came just under two years after her divorce from Todd – her husband of more than three decades – was finalized in March 2020.

Todd filed for divorce on September 5, 2019 – his birthday – citing ‘incompatibility of temperament between the parties such that they find it impossible to live together as husband and wife.’
The 55-year-old was seeking joint custody of their now 13-year-old son, Trig, and an equal division of their assets, his initial complaint stated.
The case is sealed from public view, but a publicly available docket shows that their divorce was granted on March 23 following a non-contested hearing.
In her only public interview about their separation, Palin told a Christian broadcaster in the fall of 2019 that she only learned her husband was planning on leaving her in an email from his attorney on June 19.
She received the ‘devastating’ message three months before he officially filed for divorce.
The 2008 Republican vice-presidential said she ‘felt like I had been shot’ when she learned of her husband’s desire to separate, which came a week after their 31st anniversary.
At the time of the November interview, she said the couple were going through counselling and their relationship was ‘not over over’.
