1. INVEST IN YOUR BODY AND SKIN

The fitness star recommends using a hand dry brush before jumping into the shower.

‘It’s really good at getting rid of dead skin cells and exfoliating your skin,’ she said.

How dry brushing your body reduces cellulite

Dry body brushing is an old beauty trick and a popular spa treatment for decades.

The budget friendly solution has become one of the most effective ways of diminishing cellulite.

Daily brushing helps minimise the appearance of cellulite because it enhances the circulation over the brushed areas on your body.

Sarah – who has nearly half a million YouTube subscribers – said she often gets pimples on the back of her legs from wearing sweaty tights after going to the gym.

‘I feel like dry brushing is one thing that really helps clear them up,’ she said.

There are two techniques – brush your body in long strokes or in a circular motion.

‘There’s two ways to do it, either long strokes. I like to do it in a circular motion, don’t push too hard but you definitely want to be stimulating the skin cells,’ she said.

‘The second reason why I like it is because it has been found to reduce the look of cellulite because you are increasing the blood flow to that particular area.’

2. SATISFY YOUR CRAVINGS WITH HEALTHY ALTERNATIVES

Pumpkin spice frappe to satisfy your cravings

½ cup puree pumpkin

1 tbsp honey or maple syrup

Pumpkin spice mix

Coconut milk

Ice

Optional shot of espresso

Sarah, who leads a paleo diet, said soy sauce and tamari makes her ‘stomach upset’ so she uses a healthy alternative for her meals – coconut aminos, a soy-free seasoning sauce.

‘This is my version of soy sauce,’ she said.

‘You can make stir fries with it, have it raw on your salads… I use it pretty much in all my savoury cooking.’

For a simple, quick and easy meal, the social media influencer uses coconut wraps as a substitute for bread and rice.

‘My favourite thing to put in the wrap is scrambled eggs and baby spinach,’ she said.

‘Not in the mood for a salad but you don’t really want to have heaps of bread or rice? This is the perfect solution – obsessed.’

Another pantry item to satisfy your cravings is pumpkin spice.

‘I mean honestly, who doesn’t love pumpkin spice flavour?’ she said.

She uses pumpkin spice in her frappe – adding half a cup of pumpkin puree, one table spoon of honey or maple syrup, coconut milk and ice into the blender.

‘The most delicious, healthy, simple, addictive pumpkin spice frappe ever,’ she said.

HEALTH BENEFITS OF BONE BROTH

Many celebrities have long touted the benefits of nutrient-rich bone broth.

Advocates claimed the meaty drink can ward off illnesses, ease joint and stomach pains, boost the immune system, brighten the skin and make the hair shiny.

‘I make a bone broth that you can look up on the internet,’ Actress Salma Hayek told Extra in 2015 of her beauty secret.

‘It’s very good for all your health and it’s full of collagen, when you drink it, it’s like fat… I think people are afraid of fat, and fat is your friend.’

3.  TAKE CARE OF YOUR GUT

Sarah – who is famously known for her handy tips and tricks on fitness, health and wellbeing – said the nutrient-rich bone broth has become a wonder booster for good health.

‘Bone broth is one of my number one products to use every single day – jam packed full of collagen and protein. If you have bad digestion or a leaky gut, it can do wonders for gut healing, gut replenishment,’ she said.

‘I personally like drinking it in a mug, I can just add a little bit with some hot water. But if you don’t really like the flavour of that, you can use it in soups or you can use it in a stir fry – try to do it once a day.’

Sarah said she also swears by digestive enzyme – taking it three times a day – during breakfast, lunch and dinner.

‘This is one thing I found did wonders for my digestion,’ she said.

‘Since using these, my digestion is so much better, I can go out to cafes now and not stress out about having tummy pains.

‘So if you’re the kind of person who gets a really rumbling tummy easy or you get bloated, I highly recommend using a digestive enzyme.

‘It just also helps your body break down the foods and it just goes through your body a lot easier.’

4. MAKE SLEEP A PRIORITY

‘I’m not a very good sleeper,’ she said.

‘I suffer from hypersensitivity and I’m going to use the word suffer because when it comes to sleep, it’s so hard for me to fall asleep.

‘One thing I have invested in and one thing I use every single night is an eye mask. When I put this on my eyes, it’s like my body knows it’s time for sleep.’
