Savannah Guthrie couldn’t resist sharing a photo of her two children to mark their first day back at school.
The Today anchor, 46, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a series of pictures of Vale, four, and Charley, one, ready to head back to class.
‘My heart bursts (and breaks) to look at these two headed off to their first day of school!’ the proud mother wrote in the caption.

She added: ‘Thanking God this day and every day for my little dreams come true.’
Vale, the eldest of Savannah’s two children with her husband Mike Feldman, 49, can be seen in the family snaps in a pink dress with a white collar wearing a backpack with a pink lining, printed with unicorns.
Charley, meanwhile, is wearing a printed white button-down shirt with the sleeves rolled up and khaki pants, along with a green backpack.
While Savannah was snapping pictures, Vale wrapped her arm around her little brother’s neck and planted a kiss on top of his head.
The snaps were a resounding success with Savannah’s fans and earned more than 17,000 likes in just two hours after she shared it with her 575,000 followers.
Hundreds of people chimed in the comments section, with many of them gushing about how cute Vale and Charley look in the photos.
‘They are just beyond so skinkin adorable !!! Cannot take it,’ one person wrote.

Savannah spent some of the last days of summer at the US Open, where she first went to cheer on her idol Roger Federer, 37.
Two weeks ago, she posted a photo of herself with her husband Mike Feldman, 49, smiling in the bleachers with Roger on the court behind them.
The Swiss champion was defeated by France’s Benoît Paire, but Savannah returned to the tournament last week to watch the men’s final between Novak Djokovic, 31, and Juan Martín del Potro, 29.
She was accompanied by Mike as well as her Today co-worker Jenna Bush Hager, 36, and Jenna’s husband Henry Chase Hager, 40.
Savannah, dressed in a black dress and a long white cardigan with a black pattern, sat next to Jenna during the match, which was won by the Serbian champion.
A couple of weeks ago, the mother shared a hilarious video of Vale trying to turn the late-summer heat wave that was then hitting the East coast in her favor, by using the weather as an argument to get ice cream.

Vale can be seen in the video lying down on the ground, clearly feeling the effect of the sweltering heat, emphasizing her words with her hands as she delivers her argument to her mother.
‘Can I get ice cream today because it’s a hot, hot day?’ Vale asks. Savannah responds: ‘It’s a hot, hot day?’
‘Yes it’s a hot, hot day,’ Vale reiterates. To further make her point, Vale refers a recent trip to the park, where she says she saw ‘steam’ and ‘smoke’ coming out of the ground.
‘And it’s hot and it’s sunny all around,’ she adds. Savannah, teasing her daughter, asks her: ‘So what?’
‘So I want to have ice cream today,’ Vale says, getting her point across. ‘Please. Please. Because it’s a hot, hot day.’
Despite her negotiating abilities, Vale didn’t get an immediate ‘yes’ from her mother.
‘I’ll think about it,’ Savannah tells her at the end of the video.
Vale ended up having chocolate ice cream as a result of her detailed argument in favor of the cooling snack.
‘She melted any resistance!’ Savannah told Today. ‘I appreciated how she presented a multi-part argument backed up with evidence.’
