Saweetie sizzles in hot pink bikini as she confirms romance with YG during Cabo getaway

Saweetie put her enviable hourglass curves on display in a hot pink bikini while enjoying a getaway to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with rapper YG on Sunday.

The Tap In hitmaker, 29, wowed in the sizzling two-piece that showed off her trim midriff and ample cleavage, and featured rhinestone details. 

Following speculation that Saweetie — who recently filmed a new music video in Los Angeles — and the hip hop star, 33, are an item, the songstress appeared to put all doubt to rest as she happily indulged in displays of affection with YG.

The duo enjoyed a relaxing dip in the resort pool, with the rapper embracing Saweetie at one point and kissing her. 

It comes after they were initially spotted at the Coachella music festival last month, sparking talk of a romance.

YG — born Keenon Dequan Ray Jackson — was last linked to social media star Brittany Renner. He also previously romanced singer Kehlani back in 2019.

Meanwhile Saweetie previously dated Migos rapper Quavo, before their messy split in 2021. 

The pair’s romance began on Instagram in 2018 when he DM-ed her a snowflake emoji referencing her 2017 hit, ICY GRL.

‘I told her, “You an icy girl, you need a glacier boy,”‘ Quavo (born Quavious Marshall) said in an interview with GQ. 

Saweetie replied: ‘And I sent him the stir-fry [emoji] back’ referencing Migos’ 2017 hit song.

However in March of 2021 eagle-eyed fans noticed the brunette beauty unfollowed Quavo on Instagram, before he returned the favor.

She later confirmed she is single in a Twitter post, alluding to Quavo being unfaithful, as she talked of ‘intimacy given to other women’.

‘I’m single. I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character,’ the Icy Girl hitmaker wrote.

‘Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.’

‘I emotionally checked out a long time ago and have walked away with a deep sense of peace and freedom,’ she went on in another post.

Meanwhile Quavo took to Twitter shortly after, and didn’t hold back as he accused Saweetie of wanting to make a ‘show’ and revealed his ‘disappointment’ at her for talking about their personal business.

‘I know you want to make this into a show so I’ll play my part just this one time. I don’t normally put my business out there, especially my personal life. I feel the need to address this so there are no false narratives.’ The rapper wrote in his fist post.

Shortly after, he added, ‘I had love for you and disappointed you did all that. You are not the woman I thought you were. I wish you nothing but the best [prayer hands emoji]’

Saweetie took the high road as she retweeted the post with a simple ‘Take care.’

Adding fuel to the fire, Saweetie later gave an interview in which she declared ‘I don’t like liars’ but refused to confirm who she was referring to.

During an interview with Justin LaBoy on the Respectfully Justin YouTube channel, Saweetie was asked about the most disrespectful thing a man had done to her.

She responded: ‘He break your heart… it’s the last straw…’ but would not be drawn on who the man was.

‘I think it’s lying. It’s the principle, I don’t like liars.’ she added.

Later that month a shocking video of the pair arguing in an elevator emerged, which sources on both sides claimed took place the year before.

In the clip Quavo was seen dragging Saweetie to the ground after she swung at him in elevator.

Saweetie started to gain attention after releasing her song Icy Grl to Instagram, which garnered a million views in the first week and was covered by MTV, XXL and the source.

She followed it up with her 2019 summer single My Type, which debuted on Billboard’s Hot 10 chart, making her only the seventh female rapper to do so.
