Scarlett Johansson put on a sizzling display in a strapless red maxi dress as she joined Australian hunk Chris Hemsworth at the London premiere of their new film Transformers One on Thursday.

The Marvel actress, 39, looked nothing short of sensational as she stepped onto the red carpet at Cineworld Leicester Square in the ruched evening gown.

She accessorised with a glitzy silver choker necklace and dainty hoop earrings, wearing her blonde tresses down in a straight style.

Scarlett added inches to her height with black strappy heels and opted for a bold palette of a makeup, including a colourful lip and smoky eye.

Her co-star Chris, 41, looked dapper in an all-black tailored suit, complete with a silver chain and ring.

In the movie, Chris provides the voice of Orion Pax, who later become Optimus Prime, the supreme commander of the Autobots.

Meanwhile, Scarlett steps into the role of Elita One – a devoted Autobot and powerful warrior.

The duo were joined on the red carpet by fellow cast members including Brian Tyree Henry, 42, who plays Megatron, and Keegan-Michael Key, 53, who voices Bumblebee.

Brian looked suave in a white shirt and customised leather jacket, which read ‘Such heroic nonsense, Megatron 196’ on the back, paying tribute to his character.

He paired the daring look with a long pleated skirt, featuring a cream stripe down the side, and a pair of chunky loafers.

American actor and comedian Keegan-Michael put on a smart display in a grey suit teamed with a funky patterned tie.

He and Scarlett seemed in high spirits as they shared a joke together on the red carpet.
