Surveillance camera footage emerged online showing two scooters crossing a large junction at Nantong of Jiangsu Province on March 21.
A white lorry can be seen coming in from the left and immediately swerves to the right in attempt to avoid hitting the scooter.
The back of the truck knocked off the motorist as the lorry toppled.
The lorry driver was believed to be unhurt.
The unnamed motorist sustained minor injuries and was treated at a hospital.
Local traffic police officers fined the motorist for violating traffic rules.
