BREAKING NEWS: Sean Payton ‘to become the new head coach of the Denver Broncos… with a first-round and second-round pick being dealt to New Orleans’
The Denver Broncos have their new head coach after it was reported that they acquired the rights to Sean Payton via a trade with the New Orleans Saints.
Denver sent a 2023 first-round pick and a 2024 second-round pick to the Saints in exchange for Payton as well as a 2024 third-round pick, according to Adam Schefter.
The Broncos fired their head coach Nathaniel Hackett midway through the 2022 season – as the team finished the campaign with a 5-12 record.
