A mystery winner of the $30million Oz Lotto draw is walking around unaware of their new found riches.

The ticket, purchased from a newsagency in Maroubra in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, is the only winner of the division one draw on September 11.

The lucky winner’s ticket was unregistered and many are eager to see who will claim the number one prize.

NSW Lotteries spokesperson Bronnie Spencer said: ‘We are so curious to know who our mystery winner is and what the delay is in them coming forward to claim their prize’.

‘Winners have told us previously that they find their unclaimed tickets in the most obvious places and just hadn’t thought to check them,’ she said.

Ms Spencer said people should check for tickets in the back pocket of pants, in their handbag and on the fridge.

‘If you discover you’re holding the unregistered $30million division one Oz Lotto winning entry, hold on tight to that ticket and phone 131 868 as soon as possible so we can start the prize claim process,’ she said.

The ticket was purchased from Pacific Square News in the Pacific Square Shopping Centre on Anzac Parade in Maroubra.

NSW Lotteries also took the opportunity to remind players to register their tickets, as it allows them to be contacted directly.

The winning numbers were 6, 4, 36, 23, 2, 30 and 32.

The supplementary numbers were 11 and 27.

More than 70 people in New South Wales have won The Lott’s division one prizes this year.
