How does collagen help give you youthful skin?
Collagen is found in our muscles, bones, joints, and tendons and because collagen contributes to healthy hair and strong nails, and makes up to 75 percent of our skin.
The body’s production of collagen starts decreasing from our mid-20s by about one per cent per year.
It can’t stop ageing if you take collagen supplements but there are some studies that do show an improvement to skin with the supplementation of collagen.
