Dash cam footage has emerged of the moment a Seattle police car rams into two pedestrians after being T-boned by another car.

Officer Jared Levitt was driving in his patrol car at 11.50pm on April 8 when he was hit from the side by another vehicle.

The impact caused his car to run up on the sidewalk and collide with two female pedestrians.

This is the moment that two women are hit by a police car that had been side-swiped by another vehicle

Levitt immediately got out of his vehicle to check on the two people. Both initially appeared uninjured, but the woman who was on the right side of the video complained of a head injury.

After talking with the two civilians, the officer asks the other person if they were the driver of the vehicle.

He then says: ‘What happened bud?’

The incident took place at the intersection of 4th Avenue and Pike Street

It is unknown at this time who the civilians are or who was the other driver of the car.
