‘Kate oozed old school Hollywood glamour tonight on the Top Gun red carpet,’ Laura noted. ‘She is positively glowing and many of her make up elements are bold yet her the overall feel is still natural and youthful.
‘Her eyes really stand out and she has opted for a strong brow to make a statement – you can visibly see the defined hair strokes and her eyebrows are bolder and higher than normal. A lot of attention has been spent on grooming her brows this evening.
‘Her eye make up is a definite nod to 1960’s Hollywood with a heavy bold line on her top eyelid and a subtle outwards/upward flick. Her lower eyeliner is also quite strong and again matches her 60’s vibe tonight.
‘Kate has applied lots of mascara to individually attend to each eye lash, both top and bottom, for definition and impact.

‘She has applied a creamy brown eyeshadow almost up her brow line and also in the corners of her eye sockets to make her eyes pop. This has also been blended to soften its appearance so she retains a natural look about her.
‘She has a flawless glow about her this evening. Interestingly, you can see she has combined both gold and pink together to achieve her make up look. On top of her foundation she has opted for a golden shimmer, both on her face and body, which really helps to bring out her tan and makes her shine.
‘The gold shimmer is flattering on her features. On top of this, her features, such as, cheekbones have been expertly highlighted with a baby pink blush which finishes of her evening look perfectly.

‘Finally, she has opted for a richer lip colour than usual yet it doesn’t look overdone- in my view it is the perfect balance and really suits her. Her lip gloss is a versatile colour and it looks slightly different depending on the light.’
Meanwhile Prince William, 39, demonstrated his sartorial flair in a midnight blue Alexander McQueen velvet dinner jacket, tuxedo trousers and velvet slippers embroidered with miniature fighter jets in a nod to the film.
The couple joined leading man Tom Cruise and his co-stars Jennifer Connelly and Miles Teller as A-listers and British TV royalty descended on London’s Leicester Square for the glitzy gala screening.
At one point Cruise, 59, reached out and took Kate’s hand as she navigated a set of stairs in her point toe black pumps.
