What to try: For the arm-toning ‘curl and reach’, you will need an elasticated exercise band. Hold one end of the band in each hand and stand with both feet on the middle of the band to secure it, feet hip-width apart.
With palms facing upwards and elbows tucked in to your waist, bend your elbows to curl your hands and raise the band towards your shoulders. Squeeze your biceps (in the front of the arms) as you lift.
At the mid-point, raise your hands to the ceiling, stretching the band to its maximum. Turn your palms to face the front, then slowly reverse the movement. Repeat 15 times and perform three sets.
