WHAT TO TRY: The ‘round up’ targets the waist and lower abdominal muscles. Sit on the floor against a wall, with knees bent and feet flat on the floor.

Keep your back rounded, place your hands on the floor near your hips, then squeeze your abdominal muscles and lift both feet off the floor, bringing your knees to your chest.

Straighten your legs and point your toes towards the ceiling. Do ten pulses, bringing your legs an inch closer to the wall.

Or, for an easier option, keeping your right foot on the floor, bring your extended left leg toward you by grasping your calf with both hands. Hold for 30 seconds and change legs. Repeat three times on each leg.
