And, keen to look her best for it, actress Claire Foy was in full glamour mode when she stepped-out in LA, last week.

Specifically, her neck was on show as she won an Emmy for her turn as Queen Elizabeth II in The Crown.

The 34-year-old is not a fan of the gym and, although she did ballet as a child, she had a congenital form of arthritis in her youth that left her unable to do much sport. 

She said she stays fit by ‘rushing around’ after her young daughter.

What to try: It can be tricky to target the neck, but this move will help prevent saggy skin.

Sit in a chair, lift your chin towards the ceiling and move your jaw forwards. You will feel a little tightening.

As you extend your neck, the muscles in the front relax and the side (sternocleidomastoid) muscles tense.

Hold the position for five seconds, then repeat ten to 12 times. Do three sets over the day.
