And Sophie Monk’s Bachelorette season is no different, with the former Bardot singer set to reveal her heart’s desire as a sun-kissed Fijian paradise acts as the backdrop.
With the finale set to air this Thursday and the 37-year-old star picks her true love, Daily Mail Australia takes a look at the lush retreat where the sure-to-be-dramatic scenes were filmed.

For the finale, Sophie and the last two suitors stayed at the luxurious Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay, which features breathtaking rooms starting at $420 per night for a minimum of five nights.
The woman of the moment, Sophie, was blessed with luxurious surrounds as she mulled over her big decision.
She was set up in the resort’s Royal Ocean Front Bure which contained features fit for a queen, including a sprawling view of the glistening waters of the Pacific Ocean and a private deck from which to enjoy it.

Had Sophie planned to take a dip to refresh before the big moment, she could reach the beach with ease thanks to her bure’s direct access, while a standalone tub in her suite provided a secluded spot for relaxation.
However, with two hearts on the line, Sophie couldn’t spend all her time being pampered.
During the finale, she experienced the beautiful island in all its glory as she was whisked from one date location to another by buggies, helicopters, sea planes and speed boats.
The resort’s Lagoon House Restaurant and Lagoon Lounge also played host to what is sure to be some of the most nail-biting scenes in the finale: Sophie meeting the boys’ families before she makes her pick.

Not to be outdone by Sophie’s luxurious accommodation, the final two boys standing had their own plush digs to hang out in while they tried to calm their nerves.
Three men – Stu Laundy, Apollo Jackson and Jarrod Woodgate – are left in contention for Sophie’s heart but only two will make the trip to Fiji.
They stayed in the Duplex Lagoon Front Bure which contained a lagoon-facing private deck and an expansive living space and bedroom.
