A pedestrian was killed after she was struck by a self-driving Uber vehicle in Arizona.
The accident occurred in the early hours of Monday morning in Tempe when a woman, who was walking outside of the crosswalk was hit, reported KNXV
She was immediately rush to the hospital where she died from her injuries.
Tempe Police says the carwas in autonomous mode at the time of the crash and a vehicle operator was also behind the wheel.
An Uber spokesperson told KNXV they are aware of the incident and are cooperating with authorities. The investigation is still active.
