TikTok users have been left horrified after a woman shared a video of herself cleaning a fridge which had not been opened for three years.
Auri Kananen, 29, from Tampere, Finland, who calls herself ‘the world’s best cleaner’, documented her process of cleaning out the fridge in a viral TikTok that’s amassed over 70m views.
Wearing gloves and a face mask, Auri opens the fridge and finds it full to the brim with mouldy food.
She then proceeds to pull out all the individual items, which included a decomposing carton of eggs, a packet of ham which had turned brown and a carton of yoghurt coated in a brown liquid.

After emptying the contents of the fridge, she filmed herself scraping a thick brown layer off of the bottom trays before scrubbing away the remainder.
Auri has been cleaning people’s houses for over two years, offering her services for free to help those who are struggling with mental health issues.
Giving insight into the state of the wider home, she said: ‘The homeowners were hoarders and the fridge hadn’t been opened in three years and it wasn’t even on anymore.
‘Since they hadn’t been able to access the kitchen in three years, the food in the fridge was over three-years-old.’

‘There was a bag of salad that had turned into brown liquid and I thought that that was quite cool.
‘Obviously the bottom of the fridge was so lovely and dirty. It was the best fridge I have ever cleaned.’
Auri began by removing the contents of the fridge, including a packet of ham, saying the viewers: ‘Ham for your bread?’
