Selling Sunset viewers have slammed the new season of the popular Netflix series following its release on Friday.
The series has been marred with controversy after a TikTok video appearing to show racist tweets from Amanda Lynn was circulated online.
The show also saw another epic showdown after Chrishell Stause accused Nicole Young of being homophobic after she liked a fan’s comment on Instagram which insulted her.
Fans have now accused the show of being ‘staged’ and have labelled the series as the ‘worst yet’.
‘Worst series to date. Binge watched it yesterday and wish I didn’t bother,’ one wrote on social media.
‘I tune into real estate shows for the incredible homes, not the drama. #SellingSunset just feels so staged to me—Million Dollar Listing is way more genuine!’ another said.
‘The drama just got way too catty and draining I stopped watching it,’ a third agreed.
‘Producers worked overtime on this season of #SellingSunset because holy s**t this drama playing out on camera is crazzzzzy,’ one commented.

Another wrote: ‘This show is actually getting more toxic every season. It’s not a girl’s girl show anymore. They are actually dragging each other down.’
Despite the backlash, some fans said they enjoyed the new season and ‘needed more episodes’.
‘Love the entire cast – everyone’s good made a cameo in this season!’ one person said.
‘Just watched the whole season and I need more episodes!’ a second commented.
‘Loved it! Still my favourite show,’ a third wrote.

Throughout the new season, Nicole also alluded to the fact that Emma Hernan was romantically involved with a married man and in episode 11, she told her costar Bre Tiesi about it and claimed: ‘She’s been involved with people she shouldn’t have been…’
‘Married people?’ Bre asked, as Nicole replied: ‘I wouldn’t trust Emma with my husband,’ to which Bre responded sarcastically: ‘Not a husband snatcher.’
Referring to the scenes in question, Chrishell wrote on her Instagram Stories: ‘Are we still giving air time to LIARS who just want air time?’
In another upload she wrote: ‘I will NEVER work on a show with her on it again. I would rather be sued.
‘Disclaimer when you watch just know she spews a disgusting lie about a bestie that is categorically FALSE and SUPER damaging. It is NOT TRUE.’
She then tagged Done and Done Productions and added: ‘You are disgusting for blindsiding her with this to see with the world instead of letting her at LEAST defend herself with the TRUTH.’
