Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian at Ricky Martin bash

They’re one of the hottest couples of 2017.

Tennis icon Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian were all dolled up Thursday as they attended a charity event for the Ricky Martin Foundation, the singer’s charity outfit which is focused against battling human trafficking and restoring the damage to Puerto Rico in the wake of Hurricane Maria.

The 36-year-old sports star took to her Snapchat from the event at the Nobu Eden Roc Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida, looking attractive in a black sleeveless dress with her curly locks parted.

Night on the town: Newlyweds Serena Williams, 36, and Alexis Ohanian, 34, looked slick at a Thursday event at the Nobu Eden Roc Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida for the Ricky Martin Foundation

Ohanian, a 34-year old tech mogul who co-founded Reddit, looked dapper in a black suit with a black tie at the function, sporting a beard with his hair slicked back.

It’s been a whirlwind year for the couple, who welcomed baby daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. on September 1, and tied the knot in New Orleans November 16. The tennis superstar had previously been romantically-linked to tennis coach Patrick Mouratoglou, rapper Common and embattled director Brett Ratner before she and Ohanian began dating in late 2015.

Serena has frequently taken to social media to share her joy of motherhood, with plenty of selfies, clips and observations during this exciting time in her life; in addition to setting up the baby with her own Instagram account, which already has more than 163,000 followers.

She’s also used social media as a resource when it comes to questions about motherhood, as she took to Twitter Wednesday morning to ask her 10 million-plus followers, ‘Fellow moms: How long did you breastfeed? Is it weird that I get emotional when I even just think about when it’s time to stop?’

Serena wasn’t the only emotional star at Thursday’s event, as Martin has emerged as a heroic force working tirelessly the past few months to provide relief for victims of Hurricane Maria, racking up more than $4 million through his foundation.

The San Juan, Puerto Rico native, speaking with Haute Living Miami, said he’s been vexed at times by the lack of governmental action in response to the hurricane that struck the U.S. territory in September, leaving at least 58 people dead while taking out a sizable chunk of the island’s homes, resources and power supply.

‘Sometimes you read comments on television or online of people that don’t believe anything is happening in Puerto Rico, and there’s a big group in Congress that has said no humanitarian aid to Puerto Rico, which is really frustrating,’ Martin told the publication, explaining how he’s sought to motivate the populace on his visits there.

‘Every time I go to Puerto Rico, I say, “I am here to shed some light. I am here to focus on what we have and what needs to be done. We cannot count on anyone else. We have to come together as citizens of the United States and get together to help our brothers with or without the government.”

‘Mind you – I am not saying the government isn’t doing anything, they are – but we need to do way more considering that there are four million U.S. citizens there.’
