They’re the best of friends and support each other at any cost. 

And Serena Williams reveled in her friendship with Meghan Markle after The Duchess was spotted courtside for Serena’s recent match at Wimbledon.

Serena admitted during an interview that Meghan knows what it takes to be a good pal: ‘She couldn’t be a better friend to me. Low moments, high moments —she’s always there.’

If Serena Williams wins, she will tie Margaret Court’s record of 24 Grand Slam singles championships.

While she is still on maternity leave since welcoming son Archie with the Prince in May, Markle has been in attendance to see her friend work towards a record and has garnered more heat in the process.

But her friends have her back. 

The press had a field day as the 37-year-old mother wore jeans to the white tennis match and politely asked that her photo not be taken by supporters.

She cited that she was there in a ‘private capacity.’

The famous friends have a relationship that dates back to 2014, and has remained close as ever, though they both are reaching new levels of fame. 

Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian attended her royal wedding in 2018 and Serena even through her a baby shower before Prince Archie was born. 

Fans are hoping to see the new mom at Serena’s Wimbledon finals match, before she returns to a scheduled appearance at the London premiere of the Lion King.

Meghan’s other famous friend Priyanka Chopra recently spoke about her in an interview. 

Priyanka said: ‘Megs … she was always meant for big things. To be a change and be an important voice in doing that.

‘It’s amazing that she found that calling and has the platform to be able to do it. 

‘I’m a big believer in taking charge of your life, but there’s got to be something bigger that puts us into the circumstances that we are put in.
