  • Released on bond but arrested again Tuesday for screaming at Walmart workers

A registered sex offender has been arrested after allegedly trying to climb into a woman’s car and saying Google had given him permission to do what he wants. 

William Bastin, 38, reportedly screamed ‘let me in’ before trying to force his way into the victim’s car while she waited at a stop light in Orange County, Florida, according to WFTV.

He didn’t get into the vehicle and was later stopped and arrested by police after telling officers ‘it was his day and he could have anything he wanted without paying’.

After his arrest Bastin was released on bond.

He was then apprehended again on Tuesday for acting erratically and screaming at Walmart employees. 

The victim from the car incident, who asked to remain anonymous, told the New York Post: ‘He’s going to hurt somebody. He’s dangerous.’

Bastin has been arrested at least 17 times for sex offences, drug violations and thefts.
