Cricket legend Shane Warne has broken his silence on his Covid-19 diagnosis.
The sportsman-turned-coach, 51, shared an Instagram post with fans on Tuesday thanking them for their support.
Shane, who tested positive for Covid-19 while coaching an English team in London, insisted his symptoms were ‘mild’ thanks to being fully vaccinated.

Shane shared an Instagram story that read: ‘Thank you all for the get well messages’.
‘They really mean a lot. I’ve been double vaccinated so the Covid-19 symptoms are mild, hopefully I will be up and about soon.’
News first broke on Monday revealing Shane had been diagnosed with Covid-19.

The retired Australian spin bowler, 51, felt unwell and had a positive lateral flow test, with the result of a PCR test due imminently.
He is self-isolating along with his coaching colleague at the London Spirit 100-ball team, of which he is head coach, who also tested positive.
‘Shane will isolate from the squad and support staff whilst he awaits PCR results,’ the team said.

‘A second member of the team management is self-isolating after also returning a positive test.’
Shane recently returned to Britain as head coach of London Spirit in the inaugural English limited-overs competition The Hundred.
He was absent from his side’s loss against Southern Brave played at Lord’s on Sunday while he awaited his test result and will also miss their next match to be played on Wednesday.
Shane recently told The Herald Sun that he was fully vaccinated after getting the Pfizer vaccine and urged others to do the same.

‘I had the Pfizer, I had to wait til they released it for over 50s so I could get it done,’ Shane said.
He added: ‘For Australia, just go and get the jab. I know we’ve got a lot of anti-vaxxers but if you don’t get jabbed you’re going to go into lockdown.’
Just last week, Warne gave Sydney radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O an eye opening insight about life in London, where lockdown restrictions were recently lifted, despite high daily case numbers.
The UK recorded 24,470 new cases on Sunday.
‘It’s been really interesting over here. They’ve opened up the whole country, everything’s opened and they’re having 50,000 cases a day,’ Warne said.
He went on to explain that majority of UK residents have been double-vaxxed.
‘What they’re doing and saying is ”you know what, we don’t want any more lockdown, we want to learn to live it,” he said.
‘So if everyone goes to get double-vaxxed, then when we’re just going to get on with and not put you back into lockdown, so it’s been interesting to watch actually.’
