Shane Warne SLAMS Qantas after his golf clubs go missing

Australian cricketer Shane Warne has taken to Twitter to slam Qantas. 

The 48-year-old ‘King of Spin’ vented his frustration online on Monday, after his golf clubs that he needed to play with in a charity match never made the flight he was on.

Shane tweeted how ‘disappointed’ he was in Qantas.

‘Very disappointed once AGAIN in Qantas,’ Shane wrote.

‘As I’ve arrived in Canberra to play a game of golf for charity and my clubs never made the plane! How can that happen?,’ he added.

Fans were quick to comment, with one writing: ‘That’s bulls**t.’

It is understood that Shane was reunited with his golf clubs later in the day.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Qantas for comment in relation to this story.  

On Tuesday, Shane – who is an avid golfer – took to Instagram to share a shot of the Canberra golf course, saying he was ‘proud and honoured’ to be accepted as a member of the club. 

‘Look forward to many more games at this terrific golf club,’ he wrote online.

In a 2016 interview with The Fix, Shane explained his youthful appearance was down to a good skincare regime.

‘One, I’ve got a much healthier lifestyle. Two, I’ve got a fitness regime as well,’ he said.

‘But three, actually over the last five or six years after being 25 years out in the sun, I take better care of [my skin]. I do scrub myself, I do put moisturiser on, I do put sunscreen on, I go for a facial.’
