Shane Warne is widely revered as one of the greatest cricket players of all time.
But the scandalous spin-bowler has become equally famous off the pitch, with his personal life generating headlines for more than two decades.
Now, the 49-year-old is finally setting the record straight, writing about his kinky sex romps, failed relationships and 2003 ‘drug ban’ in a ‘brutally honest’ autobiography titled No Spin.

Ahead of the book’s publication on October 4, Shane has spoken with The Daily Telegraph, defiantly claiming he has ‘no regrets’.
‘I think I’m misunderstood. Yeah sure, I’ve made some silly decisions and made some mistakes over the years. We all do that. But it doesn’t mean I’m an idiot,’ he told the paper on Saturday.
He also added that he believes he has ‘nothing to be ashamed of’.

According to The Daily Telegraph the book will go ‘in-depth’ on topics such as as ‘plastic surgery, his 12-month drug ban, the 2006 match-fixing scandal and his torrid relationships with some teammates.’
His decade-long marriage to Simone Callahan and his engagement to Elizabeth Hurley will also be discussed.
And there’s no doubt Shane’s tome will delve into some of his saucy sex romps, which have been splashed across the tabloids.

However, their marriage came into trouble in 2000, when Shane was stripped of his vice-captaincy on the Australian Cricket Team after he allegedly sent erotic voicemails and text messages to British nurse, Donna Wright.
In 2005, Shane and Simone separated, and three days later, British newspaper The Daily Mirror published allegations that Shane had a fling with sales manager Kerrie Collimore, with the pair reportedly having sex on the bonnet of his BMW.

Shane also allegedly sent steamy texts, including one that read, ‘How good was our sex f**ing very hot’.
The following year, Shane hit headlines again, after News Of The World published pictures of the fast bowler romping with two women in a London flat.
Shane appeared stripped down to his Playboy underwear, while the women fooled around with a large blow-up sex toy.
‘Shane’s a stallion, very willing to experiment,’ one of the women reportedly told the now-defunct publication.
Shane and wife Simone briefly reconciled, before calling time on their relationship in 2007.
Three years later, Shane began a high-profile relationship with British beauty, Liz Hurley, to whom he became engaged.

Allegations that Shane had a 2011 fling with porn star Chloe Conrad were published by Sunday Mirror.
Shortly after, Liz Hurley Tweeted, ‘Happy Valentine’s Day! Remember, love is like a rollercoaster ride- sometimes it’s exhilarating but sometimes u (sic) feel sick and want to get off.’
However, Shane and Liz managed to move past the allegations, staying together until their split in late 2013.

The following year, Shane allegedly began a short relationship with former Playboy model Emily Scott. He claimed the two were just friends, before he was spotted by photographers on a late night visit to her house.
The single star has also hit headlines in recent years for his reported use of online dating apps.
In 2015, single mother Kim McGrath revealed to Woman’s Day that she hooked up with Shane after the pair were matched on Tinder.

Shane has denied using such products, instead crediting his more flattering looks to luxurious facials and a good moisturiser.

And the spin king hasn’t escaped controversy on the pitch either. In the late 90s, the Australian Cricket Board revealed it had fined both Shane and Mark Waugh for accepting money from a bookmaker in return for pitch and weather information.
In 2003, Shane again hit headlines after he was sentenced to a 12-month ban from organised cricket after he breached the Cricket Board’s drug code. Shane tested positive to a banned diuretic, but the star claimed he had only taken one fluid tablet, given to him by his mother to improve his appearance.
