Shania made a triumphant return with a high-energy gig at the Today show’s Citi Concert stage on Rockefeller Plaza in NYC on Monday.
‘I’m really feeling the love,’ she told the co-hosts before hitting the stage.
‘I didn’t realize how appreciated I was.’

Shania’s first album in 15 years, Now, is due out on September 29 and her set included her new single, Life’s About To Get Good, which she described as ‘annoyingly catchy.’
It’s ‘really about going dark to light, sad to happy, lost to found,’ she explained on the show.
‘It’s that euphoric feeling that we get when we realize there is a light at the end of the tunnel.’

Shania said the album took so long to put together because she was ‘rediscovering myself as a songwriter’ after dysphonia, brought on by Lyme disease, damaged her vocal cords, robbing her of her voice for a time.
‘I take my health seriously,’ the Canadian told the Herald-Sun, ‘There is a lot of discipline involved for me personally, eating properly, getting the right amount of rest, self-care and self-maintenance.’
