Shannen Doherty took to Instagram on Thursday to share a photo from what she described as a ‘much needed’ night out with friends.
The 52-year-old former Beverly Hills, 90210 actress – who received a standing ovation at 90s Con – posed with two gal pals in the post.
Engaging her 2.1 million followers, she wrote in the caption: ‘Much needed girls night.’
She and her companions, friends Kristy and Julie, gathered together for a photo op outside of Kristys Village Cafe in Malibu.
It comes as the star has been battling stage four breast cancer that has spread to her brain.

Days earlier, Doherty took to the app to share a gorgeous selfie in a light face of glowy makeup.
She wrote, ‘Today has been a hard day. Obvious reasons and not so obvious reasons. But every day I pick myself up and hope that I do better. That people do better.’
The raven-haired beauty added, ‘That what’s obvious is not so convoluted. While I send myself love and peace, I also send love to every single one of you.’
She referenced backlash to statements she’s made about the Israel-Palestine conflict as she continued, ‘Even those that have threatened me in the last week.’
Finally, she wrote, ‘May God be in your hearts.’
Earlier this year Doherty announced that her cancer had spread to her brain in an Instagram post that showed her undergoing radiation therapy.
In the vulnerable video clip, she cried as the camera focused in on her face.
First diagnosed with breast cancer, which included the presence of multiple tumors in 2015, the Charmed alum had a single mastectomy in May 2016.

It was followed by chemotherapy treatments and radiotherapy, to treat cancer, which was more advanced than doctors thought.
By 2017, Doherty announced that her cancer was in remission. But in February 2020, she revealed the cancer had returned in 2019, and that she was in stage four.
‘On January 5th, my CT scan showed Mets in my brain,’ Doherty captioned the clip posted in June. ‘Yesterday’s video was showing the process of getting fitted for the mask, which you wear during radiation to your brain. January 12, the first round of radiation took place.’
She added, ‘My fear is obvious. I am extremely claustrophobic and there was a lot going on in my life.’
The actress added that she had been able to take solace in the great doctors and techs at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
