‘I feel like a grandparent – it’s been a while’: Shannon Noll, 43, speaks candidly about becoming a father for the fourth time and FINALLY reveals his newborn son’s name
Shannon Noll and his wife Rochelle welcomed their fourth child on December 30.
And in an interview with New Idea on Monday, the former Australian Idol star spoke candidly about becoming an older father and revealed his son’s name is Colton Keith Noll.
Speaking to the magazine, the 43-year-old – who is already a father to Cody, 17, Blake, 15, and Sienna, 11 – said that he felt ‘like a grandparent’ this time around.

‘The fourth time round I feel like a grandparent – it’s been a while,’ he joked.
The What About Me singer said he’s planning to do parenting differently now that he’s aged and said praised his wife-of-14-years for taking motherhood in her stride.
He added: ‘I haven’t done it [parenting a newborn] for so long, but things just fell into place, Rochelle is such a great mum and she handles everything brilliantly.’

Shannon also shared that he wanted to be better and juggling his family life and his singing career.
‘This time I have to work smarter not harder, because I don’t want to miss out on seeing my boy grow up as I felt I missed out on my other kids growing up before,’ he admitted.
The former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star said that he’s planning to scale back his tour schedule in order to make more time for fatherhood.

Shannon and Rochelle welcomed Colton into the world last month, with the baby weighing in at 3.6kg.
The birth of the newborn comes after Shannon was told he could no longer have children following a freak ute accident in 2010.
In a previous interview with New Idea, he explained: ‘I left for London a few days [after the accident] and half way through rehearsals I was in agony.’
‘The first thing the doctor said was, ‘I hope you’re finished having kids’, so we didn’t think there was any chance,’ he said.
