Matty Johns is known for his sense of humour, but he was the one getting roasted by Shaquille O’Neal on Wednesday as the NBA legend sat down with him while he’s in Australia for his speaking and DJing tour.
Fortunately, the former NRL star turned Fox Sports personality thinks fast on his feet and had a perfect comeback that left O’Neal in stitches.
Johns was joined by AFL legend Jonathan Brown when the cheeky exchange happened.

O’Neal is visiting Australia for the first time in 20 years as part of a speaking tour
Johns was interested to know if O’Neal had ever received any offers to play in the NFL, given his immense size and strength.
O’Neal admitted he hadn’t, but backed himself to have been able to play in the league given his ‘impeccable hands’.
‘You’ve got the big hands,’ Brown said. ‘This man’s [gesturing to Johns] nickname to finish off with is “Tiny Hands”.’
O’Neal jokingly replied: ‘You know what they say about men with tiny hands,’ to which Johns had a brilliant comeback of his own: ‘Yes. It makes their d*** look big.’
‘I haven’t heard that one, buddy,’ O’Neal replied as he began to laugh.
The four-time NBA champion also talked to the pair about his plans to help the homeless in Los Angeles.

‘I wanted to dress up as a homeless guy and stay with homeless people for 30 days,’ the 216cm legend said.
‘But the costume didn’t work. Everybody recognised me.’
The marquee moment of O’Neal’s tour Down Under will see him appear at the sold-out event — ‘An Evening with Shaquille O’Neal’ presented by The Hour Group — which is available for purchase on Main Event Pay-Per-View.
O’Neal will be interviewed by Fox Sports’ Mark Howard, where he will be offering uncensored conversations about his life and career as an NBA superstar, TV host, business mogul and DJ.

As his alter ego DJ Diesel, O’Neal will perform a gig at Melbourne nightclub 170 Russell on Wednesday where he will be supported by yscu, Big Boss, Miicha, CHENDA, and Balaram.
Five lucky basketball fans will be able to win a chance to go up against the NBA legend in a live shoot out at the Star in Sydney to see who can score the most points.
The winner of the shootout will get to participate in a personal meet and greet with the star.
