Sharon Stone, 64, shows off her paintings during a party in LA

Movie star turned painter Sharon Stone has shown off her art work.

On Thursday the Basic Instinct actress let pals take in her modern art canvases while at the Georgian Hotel in Santa Monica, California.

The blonde beauty, 64 – who recently lost her brother – also took to her Instagram Stories to document the evening.

Her pals surrounded her as she posed in front of colorful paintings that she made herself inside a studio at her Beverly Hills home.

Also at the event was Sharon’s 22-year-old son Roan Stone, her sister Kelly Stone actress Tiffani-Amber Thiessen.

From film to art: Sharon Stone, 64, debuted her very first art exhibition at the inaugural opening of Gallery 33 inside The Georgian Hotel in Santa Monica on Thursday night

Sharon looked incredible when she rocked a black lace coat to debut her very first art exhibition at the inaugural opening of Gallery 33 inside The Georgian Hotel.

The legendary actress paired the statement coat with a matching shirt and black leather pants.

Stone’s show-stopping necklace was the focal point of her chic and edgy look, as it featured an elaborate array of beads and crystals.

She attended the event with her handsome son Roan Stone, 22, who looked dashing in a navy blue suit as he supported his A-list mother on her special night.

Stone exhibited an impressive collection of paintings, showing off her artistic talents and helping The Georgian Hotel open up its high-end art gallery.

The art work was impressive, with several large canvases full of bright colors and whimsical strokes.

She has been acting her whole adult life in films such as Basic Instinct, Casino and shows such as Ratched and The Flight Attendant.

But now the performer has been devoting much of her time to another craft: painting.

Last year the former Playboy cover girl shared images to Instagram where she was at work on a large canvas using bright colors.

‘Welcome to my studio,’ the mother of three wrote in her caption as she wore a white shirt, black shorts and socks while painting.

The room was large with high ceilings. There was a table behind her with several bottles of paint as well as tissues and brushes.

Soon after she shared a slideshow of photos, some images featuring her work. One painting was called Blue. ‘LOVEEEEEE,’ she noted in her caption.

She has been documenting her painting skills all year long.

In March 2021, the movie star showed off progress she made on a watercolor painting she was working on after telling her Instagram followers.

She said she was giving the hobby a try on a larger scale.

And one day later, Stone showed off the completed stunning artwork she made – revealing that she painted the impressive piece with makeup brushes.

The legendary actress called the piece ‘Mother Earth’ as she thanked makeup brand Iconic London for their brushes.

The passion to paint hit her many years ago, but now the blonde bombshell has shown off her studio, which is a large room inside her Beverly Hills mansion.

The stunning artwork featured a sky detail with rolling hills and a rocky terrain.

Sharon captioned it: ‘OK NOW I really did finish it. Done: Mother Earth.’

She added: ‘I’d like to thank @iconic.london make-up brushes. I used them on this painting.’

Vibrant colors weaved their way through the majority of Stone’s paintings

The gallery was buzzing with potential buyers

One day prior, Sharon shared the progress of her painting as she worked on it, with the first image what it looked like.

She wrote: ‘Giving large scale watercolors a try. 1. 2/28 I worked on it some more. I think it’s better now. 2. 2/27.’

After showing her impressive artwork, the multi-talented star shared an adorable snap of her dog Bandit Stone and his girlfriend Abby.

Sharon’s art exhibition comes after she recently confirmed the death of her brother Patrick Joseph Stone at the age of 57.

The star confirmed the tragedy in a tearful clip she posted to social media on Monday to thank people for the outpouring of support.

‘Hello everybody, this message is to confirm that, yes, we did lose my brother, Patrick Joseph Stone, to a heart attack yesterday,’ she said in the clip.

Stone referenced a previous family tragedy – her baby nephew River’s tragic death at 11-months-old in 2021 from organ failure – in her confirmation of her sibling’s death.

The Oscar-nominated actress made clear her gratitude for the kindness she has received in the wake of the sad news.

‘Like any family, we thank you for your love and support in this time of immeasurable grief and we appreciate all of your condolences,’ Stone said. ‘Yes we’ve had a tremendous amount of loss in these last couple of years, as so many of you also have.’

The Sliver actress wrapped up the clip in saying, ‘I thank you very much for the love and support that you’re showing us and we just ask you to continue to be kind. Thank you.’
