The stars were out in force for Jonathan Ross’ annual spooktacular Halloween party today as they descended on the chat show host’s Hamsptead manor.
Leading the glitzy parade were the likes of spooky Boris Becker, Ashley James, who turned out as a Joker and Strictly’s Shirley Ballas clad in a Catwoman bodysuit, whilst David Walliams perfectly embodied Flash Gordon villian Ming the Merciless and Jimmy Carr perfected his outfit as a puppet.
Not all guests opted for traditional costumes, however, with one reveller opting to dress as a Saudi holding a severed hand. The controversial costume appeared to be a nod to the recent killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, who was murdered in Saudi Arabia earlier this month.

Jonathan’s bashes are so packed full of stars that he has previously enlisted the help of the police to protect both the guests and the public. However, in 2016 it was revealed that the officers on duty were funded by the tax payer.
An angry neighbour was appalled by the discovery after he submitted the Freedom of Information request following the high-profile party, and found the cost of the operation to be £531.80, none of which was funded by the broadcaster.
While officers weren’t stationed on the front door of Ross’s property, a policing plan was drawn up ‘for the protection of the public’.
Reasons given for the outlay were potential dangers to the public from crowding of the pavement, spilling onto the road and impingement of traffic.
The Metropolitan Police said: ‘Local officers will continue to attend and interact at events of all kinds on their areas as part of their normal patrols as this is an integral way to foster support and trust in the police and to promote engagement and communication as we do for school fetes and the like.’
A police source told the Daily Mirror: ‘Most officers would rather spend time on proper jobs, rather than shepherding rubberneckers gawping at celebs in silly outfits.’
