David Beckham poked fun at his wife Victoria’s new gadget in a funny Instagram Story on Monday.
The couple are currently staying in France after the designer made her Paris Fashion Week debut on Friday.
Yet David, 47, admitted he’d been struggling to fall asleep in their luxury hotel room due to the brightness of his wife’s book lamp.

Sharing a shirtless selfie in bed he showed just how the bright the gadget had made the room as he quipped: ‘So my wife has a new light for her book from amazon WOW @victoriabeckham.
‘To be clear there are no other lights on in the room. Love and light.’
He later shared another shirtless selfie on his hotel balcony wearing a pair shades as he quipped: ‘Gonna have to wear some @dbeyewear for bed soon.’

It comes after Victoria reached out to son Brooklyn and daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz with a heartfelt message after they squashed feud rumours with a reunion at her PFW show.
The fashion designer, 48, took to Instagram on Sunday to share a picture of the couple alongside the message: ‘I love you all so much’, which Nicola went on to re-share.
Victoria also uploaded an image of her parents Jackie and Anthony Adams with the couple, with the star seemingly delighted to have things back on track with her loved ones.

It comes just days after Brooklyn and Nicola attended Victoria’s debut Paris Fashion Week show on Friday where they finally put to bed speculation that they had fallen out with the Spice Girl.
Putting on a further united front, Victoria’s gushing post featured Nicola and Brooklyn – as well as other family members – in the audience at her fashion show.
The couple beamed in matching black and denim outfits as they joined the rest of the Beckham clan, including David, at the event in the French capital.

It comes after Victoria was seen chatting to her son Brooklyn outside her Paris Fashion Week show while Nicola socialised with Cruz’s girlfriend Tana Holding as the family reunited following feud rumours.
The couple attended and arrived half an hour early to show their support, with ‘lots of hugs’ going on when they were all reunited for the first time since this summer, said a source in the room.
And video footage taken outside the event shows Victoria laughing with her son Brooklyn, while Nicola socialised with Cruz’s girlfriend Tana Holding and Harper Seven.

In the 30-second clip, Victoria looks glamorous in a figure-hugging black dress as she chats with Brooklyn, who is seen flashing a huge smile as he enjoys a drink.
During their avid chat, a woman approaches Victoria but she points at her son and instead continues their conversation, with the woman then walking away.
The mother and son then edge towards Nicola, who is facing the other way as she chats to Brooklyn’s sister Harper, 11, and Cruz’s model girlfriend Tana.
Brooklyn is seen placing his hand on his wife’s back and holding the waistband of her jeans as he continues speaking to his mother, while Nicola carries on her chat with Tana.
The footage ends with Victoria standing next to Nicola as Brooklyn stands behind his wife with his arm around her waist.
Brooklyn and Nicola – who arrived separate to the Beckhams – walked hand-in-hand as they stepped out at the event, with the heiress gazing lovingly into her husband’s eyes.
After entering Victoria’s much-anticipated fashion show, the couple sat on the front row with Brooklyn’s father David, 47, and his siblings – Harper, Romeo, 20, and Cruz, 17.
