Last year’s New Year’s Eve family party ran until very late the next morning, thanks to their four ‘party animal’ children.
But the Beckhams proved that 2018 was going to be all about ‘quality’ time over ‘quantity’, after they spent time apart for the first time in 18 years.
David Beckham shared sweet pictures with his children Cruz, Romeo and Harper on Wednesday night, after the famous family were reunited with 18-year-old Brooklyn in Miami for their first holiday since he left for university.

David and his four children, along with fashion designer wife Victoria, have once again chosen to spend New Year’s Eve as a family unit.
Though the break is soon to end, ready for their return to the UK, David was reminiscing about fond memories from the luxury resort at which they’re staying.
He shared a compilation of selfies with his three youngest children, while Brooklyn posted about being reunited with American actress girlfriend Chloe Moretz.

The latest pictures suggest that the family have continued their holiday without him, after making sure to ring in 2018 altogether.
Victoria recently admitted that the thought of Brooklyn being away at university in New York made her emotional.
Revealing that NYE was her favourite holiday of the year, Victoria told Vogue that the couple like to spend New Year’s with their children because ‘they know how to party’.

‘I love New Year’s Eve,’ she explained. ‘We always spend New Year’s Eve with the children, and my kids know how to party.
‘Last year, I mean goodness they stayed up so late, they really are party animals. It’s a good time to get a little bit dressed up and let your hair down, have some fun and just go for it.’
She added: ‘This year, Brooklyn is coming home from New York, and I won’t talk about it too much because I’ll start crying. We haven’t seen him for quite a while. So, he’s coming home, and he is good fun.’

Victoria marked the occasion by posting their first full family picture of 2018 on New Year’s Eve, saying: ‘Happy New Year!! X We love u all!! X kisses from us all!! X’
The family were turned out in their Sunday best with Victoria looking typically chic in peach as they arrived headed out for a formal dinner.
Later, David shared some bonding time with Brooklyn, who will be with his parents for only a short time before going back to university.
They both looked like they’d spent too much time in the sun as their cheeks were rosy and their foreheads lobster red.

Earlier that day, David had shared the moment that his three shirtless sons took a dip in the sea as the sun went down, explaining their deep glow.
But in the spirit of New Year, David tried to disguise his sunburn with a Happy New Year novelty hat while he blew on a party blower in his father-son NYE picture.
The family were treated to a live performance by UB40, who were seen on a stage above the water, prompting David to write ‘UB40, seriously? Wow’.
Doting David was sat between his middle son Romeo and daughter Harper at dinner that evening, while Cruz captured the supper for fans on his Instagram account.
The 12-year-old wrote to his 1million followers: ‘Happy new year! Thank you all for an amazing year!!’
Victoria also paid tribute to the pre-teen budding musician saying how proud she felt of her ‘baby boy’ with a mother-son selfie.

Their holiday has been an opportunity to catch some sun after their Christmas in the British countryside.
In one clip shared over the festive period, six-year-old daughter Harper was seen at the wheel of a golf buggy on the lap of her dad David.
The sweet clip saw Harper giggling with glee as she navigated the vehicle before turning around and beaming for the camera.
Victoria captioned the footage: ‘Someone loves her daddy! #drivingmissharper kisses x @davidbeckham.’

The Beckhams’ Christmas was held for the first time at their luxury, newly-built mansion in the Cotswolds this year.
Victoria posted an array of snaps of the celebrations to her Insta-Stories, featuring her eldest son Brooklyn and David.
In one snap – actually posted on Christmas Eve – she showed David in a pair of pyjama bottoms that had the security tag still on them. ‘When Santa brings pyjamas but doesn’t take the security tag off!’ was her caption.
She was also gifted with a Night Before Christmas present.

The Spice Girl uploaded a snap of a bottle of tequila infused with coffee, which had been custom made for her.

On Christmas morning, Victoria uploaded a letter Santa had written to her four children.
The letter said that the foursome had ‘been very good’ and thanked them for the mince pies, chocolates and milk they left out for him.
He also noted that ‘Rudolph loved his carrot’ and that he’d see them next year.
