A couple recorded video of a man hanging out of a car window on the passenger side, as he held hands with the driver who is believed to be female.

It is thought the couple might have been involved in a dispute and that is the reason for the bizarre scenes on a main road in Colorado Springs, according to video seen on ViralHog.

At one point, the driver revs the engine and accelerates, swerving around corners as the man dangerously bobs from the passenger window.

The man driving behind the car can be heard saying: ‘Oh my god, We’re about to watch this guy die.’

The video was first posted on Monday and has been watched over 30,000 times.

Police would not comment on the specific video because it was not reported to them.

However they asked members of the public to call 911 if they see someone driving dangerously on the roads.

CSPD Liuetnant James Sokolik told KKTV: ‘If you see something dangerous, you see someone acting, be it traffic or other behavior that’s a danger to themselves or a danger to the public, give us a call and we’ll do our best to get out there and deal with the situation.’

‘If you see somebody driving recklessly, someone who might be a DUI, we’re going to ask you to call,’ he added.

The people who took the video told KKTV that they did not call police in the end because the man who was in danger was not hurt.

But Sokolik urges the public to call anyway if they do see that sort of behavior.
