Video that was posted online shows a verbal altercation on a mid-air flight turn violent when one of the passengers slapped a female flight attendant after she hit him for apparently spitting at her while screaming in her face.
The two-minute video begins with one of the passengers enraged after a male flight attendant looked to be attempting to restrain him.
‘You don’t put your hands on me!’ the man is heard yelling in the video toward the male flight attendant.
‘Calm down!’ the male flight attendant says repeatedly in response.
The irate passenger continues to demand that the flight attendant refrain from touching him.

After the man inched closer to the female supervisor and yelled, she appeared to hit him. In response, the man struck her across the face
As this is taking place, at least one woman can be heard complaining that the flight attendant was ‘putting hands on my husband.’
According to unconfirmed reports online, the altercation was triggered when the passenger wanted to report that his mother was being assaulted by the person seated next to her.
The passenger’s wife then starts recording when the male flight attendant allegedly punched her husband.
This angered the husband and escalated the altercation.
In the midst of the chaos, the flight attendant’s supervisor, a woman wearing a red uniform, appears in the video.
She apparently seeks to intervene.
The husband tells her: ‘Shut the f*** up!’
Moments earlier the man was seen telling a male flight attendant (above) not to lay a hand on him
During a tense exchange, the flight attendant tried to calm the man down, but was unable to. The man then got closer to the flight attendant, who tried to push him away
The flight attendant is alleged to have pushed the man after he and his wife complained that another passenger assaulted the man’s mother
The male flight attendant appears to try to push the angry passenger away from him, prompting the passenger to push back in response.
‘Motherf*****!’ the husband is heard yelling. ‘I’m gonna beat the s*** out of you!’
The husband then repeats the threat.
Several other passengers are seen in the video trying to bring calm to the situation and to restrain the husband, but to no avail.
The husband and his wife who is recording the incident then demand to know why the police have not been called.
‘You better get off of me!’ the husband is heard saying, though it is not clear to whom this was directed.
Moments later, the female supervisor is seen talking to the husband.
She appears to be giving him a stern warning, saying: ‘You listen, and you calm down.’
The wife is then heard saying: ‘All he had to do was help.’
This was apparently a reference to the male flight attendant who was called over about the initial alleged incident.
The female supervisor then intervened and threatened to call the police
The tense conversation then spun out of control as the man grew angrier, claiming he was hit by the male flight attendant
After the man slapped the female supervisor across the face, another flight attendant intervened to restrain the man
When the female supervisor then threatened to call the police, the wife and the husband claimed that it was the flight attendant who escalated the situation by touching him.
‘He hit me!’ the husband told the supervisor.
‘You saw him, and I’m recording!’ the wife is heard saying.
At this point, at least two other flight attendants approach the man and appear to be trying to calm the situation.
The female supervisor then threatens the husband that he would ‘get in trouble.’
As the husband and supervisor went back and forth, the wife is heard saying: ‘This is not illegal. This is my right.’
Moments later, the husband grew even angrier and began yelling louder while inching closer to the supervisor’s face.
The supervisor then hit the husband in the face. The husband then responded by striking her hard in the face.
At this point, at least one other passenger intervenes and restrains the husband while the wife yells uncontrollably in the background and continues recording.
‘Get the f*** off of him!’ the wife is heard saying before the clip ends.
On social media, there are claims that this took place on a Brussels Airline flight.
