Near miss: This is the shocking moment a truck was forced off the road to avoid a head-on collision with P-plate driver
It comes after police caught a 22-year-old driving at 175km/h on the same highway last Saturday.
Sergeant Simon Goddard of Williams police said: ‘People make really bad judgements through bad planning.’
‘They think they have some perceived pressure or stress to get somewhere at a certain time and that could affect everyone else on the highway.
‘People seem to take driving as a god given right when it’s actually a privilege, and it’s sometimes pretty disheartening and frustrating at how little risk assessment people do when they get into their cars.’
