Dramatic footage shows a vicious London brawl where a man in his 40s is beaten to the ground and left unconscious in the street.
The video, taken from inside a bus by a driver in Croydon, shows a group of five people fighting on the street – one of whom can be seen striking his opponent with a baton-like object.
The concerned driver issues a ‘code red’, alerting police to the fight on Katharine Street at 3.30am on July 13, when one participant collapses to the ground after taking a severe beating.

‘It’s a fight over here where I am, they are killing each other, send the police ASAP,’ the driver says.
‘One guy is down they are killing each other, man.’
The person on the other end of the radio asks if they have any weapons.
‘There’s some sticks, I don’t know exactly,’ the driver says. ‘One guy I think is dead, I don’t know just call the police ASAP.’
He says the group started fighting in the park and came towards his bus, which he claims has 24 cameras.

The driver comments that the male lying on the floor has been beaten severely.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson told MailOnline: ‘Police were called at approximately 03:30hrs on Saturday, 13 July to reports of two men assaulted in Katherine Street, Croydon.
‘Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and both men, aged in their 40s, were taken to hospital for treatment to their injuries – neither man’s condition was life threatening.
‘The investigation was closed after the victim decided not to pursue any further action.’
