Shocking scenes as The Project host Sam Taunton starts gushing blood live on air: ‘I’m feeling a bit faint’

Sam Taunton was left bloodied and faint on Tuesday’s episode of The Project. 

After a commercial break, the show introduced a segment with Celia Pacquola, but as soon as it began, Sam turned away from the camera. 

When he turned back, there was blood gushing out of his nose. 

‘Sorry, I’m feeling a bit faint!’ Sam exclaimed, dabbing at the flood of blood dripping down his face. 

‘Oh god, oh no, are you serious!’ cried out co-host Kate Langbroek, before Sam was asked is he was ‘pranking’ the team. 

‘Is there anything that you can do to help me?’ he cried out, now plastered in plasma. 

‘Yes, I’m going to take your job. You’re fired! Welcome back to The Project!’ Celia joked. 

‘Seriously, you’re a piece of (BLEEP). Is that serious!’ she added, clearly horrified.  

Sam finally gave in and admitted that it was all done for a laugh, telling his co-stars: ‘It’s not real! Or is it? No, it’s not real.’

‘Is there anything that you can do to help me?’ he cried out, plastered in plasma. ‘Yes, I’m going to take your job. You’re fired! Welcome back to The Project!’ Celia (left) joked

After completing his shock prank, Sam was given a face towel to clean up the fake blood all over his face and hands. 

‘Is everyone okay? Is it serious? It’s really not serious. Were you in on it? You’re cheeky!’ Celia said. 

‘It’s good to know that in emergency, my instinct is to step over the corpse!’ she added with a laugh once the prank was revealed.
