Shocking video shows a group of 11 teens attacked a 68-year-old man on a Chicago train after one of them tried to rob him while he slept.

Security camera footage shows the man sitting on the train and sleeping as a group of teens make their way through the train car.

One of the girls stops and can be seen trying to go through the sleeping man’s pockets.

The man eventually wakes up and the two get into a scuffle.

A larger group of teens later returns and assaults the man, kicking him in the face and chest.

No bystanders jump in to assist the man and he is left bleeding on the train, according to police.

Train workers are said to have helped him off the train at the Red Line’s Argyle station, located in Chicago’s uptown neighborhood.

He was taken to a local hospital and treated for lacerations on his head and for body soreness. Police say that he suffered blunt force trauma.

Authorities say they are struggling to identify the suspects in their investigation into the incident.

The Chicago Police Department has not made any arrest in connection the beating as the victim ‘was unable to identify his attackers due to his injuries.’

The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office ‘wouldn’t touch’ the case if the victim is unable to cooperate or can not identify the attackers, a police source explained to Fox News.

The state’s attorney’s office said it was ‘unable to comment’ on the case.
